University of South Wales retains its CIPs Centre of Excellence status

The University of South Wales’ logistics and supply chain team have once again achieved the CIPS Centre of Excellence status, following a recent audit.

The University now has one of the biggest CIPS centres in the UK and has established a good relationship with the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.
Speaking about the teams recent achievement Chris Lee, Award Leader for the CIPS programme, said: “This status is not only a springboard for our MSc and BA (Hons) accreditations with CIPS, but also any local and international business development work and consultancy work in purchasing, supply chain and logistics; so this status is strategically important for our growth and development in the future.”
